meet dr. brian kerr
Magic Orthodontist
Affectionately known as the “Magic Orthodontist” by his patients and the public alike, Dr. Kerr is a graduate of Cook College, Rutgers University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He then received a General Practice Residency certificate from Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He then attended an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kerr is an active member in many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the:
- American Association of Orthodontists
- American Dental Association
- Pennsylvania Dental Association
- Scranton District Dental Society
- Susquehanna Dental Society
- In addition, he has served as president of the Scranton District Dental Society.
Dr. Kerr enjoys several interests such as travel, scuba diving, golf, photography, magic, bagpipes and cooking. Dr. Kerr is a PADI Advanced Open Water Certified (which means he’s a scuba diver!), and he is a member of the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians and the Greater Scranton Black Diamonds (a bagpiping group). He is also a member of the Northeast Photography Club, a local photography club.
Dr. Kerr and his wife, Carolyn, are the proud parents of their daughters: Rachel, Julia, Lexi. and Rachel. They also have three dogs: Wilbur, Maggie, and Samson.
